Unusual record out of Atlanta. A side is Modern Soul, B side is country. For soul fans, the interesting point is that the lead vocal is George Hughley (of "That's Why I Cry" fame). Scrooges was a bar and lounge at the time in Doraville GA so I presume that George, and "Birdlegs" who I think handles lead vocals on the country side, were regular performers at the bar. To the best of my knowledge, this is the first time this single has come up for sale, and does not seem to be publicly documented. Click the song titles to hear a sample of the record being offered.
