          NM        - near mint = close to new with hardly any wear,

                         reserved for the most pristine copies

          VG++    - very good plus plus = very nice with low playwear, 

                        a very clean, collectible copy

          VG+      - very good plus = slight audible or visual playwear, 

                        a decent copy with occasional background noise

         VG         - very good = some audible or visual playwear, 

                        a well used but playable copy
