Up for auction is nice Lot of 2 albums by The Pentangle:

Solomon's Seal
-Originally released in the U.K. on Reprise Records (K 44197) in 1972.
-Guaranteed original UK pressing
-Early A4/B4 stamps in run-out matrix
-Original textured cover
-Original lyric sheet insert
-Original UK paper inner sleeve
-Vinyl comes in audiophile poly inner sleeve
-No UPC/bar code on cover
-From my personal collection

Condition:
The cover is still in nice condition.  These matte textured covers were very prone to wear and age, but this one has held up very nicely.  Front is nice and generally clean, just some light rubbing top middle, and small age spots lower right.  Back looks clean with some light rubbing.  Seams are intact, no splits, but show some moderate rubbing in places.  Spine titles are intact, clean.  Nice copy.  Grade: Very Good Plus (VG+).

The vinyl is also in nice condition, still retains its original glossy shine.  No obvious scratches, but under intense light, there are some faint, superficial hairlines here and there, probably from taking the vinyl out of the paper inner sleeve a few times.  Labels are clean.  Looks like it's been played only a few times, but handled very carefully.  Nice copy.  Grade: Excellent (EX), better than typical VG+ copies.
