RECORD

1st original 1958 US mono pressing with 446 West 50th ST. N.Y.C. address on the yellow labels

"NOT FOR SALE" stamped on label B (see pic)

Wearless spindle hole

Deep Groove on both sides

Matrix / Runout (Side B): PRLP-7133-B    8J   engraved by hand

RVG machine engraved on both sides

Visual A

Excepting rarest, hardly visible under a strong bulb lamp, extremely light, thin and unfeelable sleeve scuffs, the playing surface of this thick, shiny, carefully played vinyl, looks free of other noticeable signs of wear or handling as marks, scratches, groove wear

Visual B

One small extremely light abrasion on the 1st track and one absolutely insignificant, hardly visible under a strong bulb lamp, faint, unfeelable sleeve hairline. With NO other noticeable signs of wear or handling as scuffs, marks, scratches, groove wear

  Audio grade

Side A : NEAR MINT

Plays very clean with NO noticeable blemishes as tics, clicks, skips, noise

Side B

1st track : EXCELLENT ++

Graded as such only because of 2 or 3 occasional extremely light, softly feelable well below the music level and not affecting the listening experience, crackles to the beginning caused by the flaw noted above during my visual inspection. Then plays very clean with NO other noticeable blemishes as tics, skips, noise

2nd/ 3rd/ 4th/ 5th/ 6th tracks : NEAR MINT

Play very clean with NO noticeable blemishes as tics, clicks, skips, noise

This record comes in its original rice paper inner sleeve

Cleaned with CLEAR AUDIO VACUUM MATRIX using its PURE GROOVE professional solution

COVER : NEAR MINT- / VERY GOOD+

Original solid, laminated front, cardboard rear jacket

The front side retains its striking, glossy original shape and is graded as such(NM-) only because of slightest hint of laminate lifting along the opening edge, barely noticeable and not affecting the integrity of the artwork whatsoever

Tight seams and fully readable spine with NO wear or splits (see pic)

With NO ring-wear, NO dog-eared corners, NO tears

Back side graded as such (VG+) because of:

a "NOT FOR SALE" rubber stamp

three minuscule, barely noticeable ink writings

a couple of staple holes near the bottom right corner

light age yellowing around the edges
