Wow! Check out this blast from the past! You are bidding on an ORIGINAL 1970's Vintage Peaches Records & Tapes Wood Crate Kit which is unassembled and is still in its ORIGINAL BOX! These Peaches LP crates are highly sought after in the vinyl community. This kit is 100% complete! It comes with all 9 wooden slats as well as the necessary hardware (nails). All you will need to complete assembly is a hammer. This crate measures approximately 14"x 28" when it is built. It will comfortably hold between 85-100 albums.
The Peaches Record stores originally opened in 1976 and went out of business in 1985. During that time period, these record crates became very popular and were highly coveted by record collectors. If you are an avid collector, you know that these VINTAGE Peaches LP crates are very hard to find and nearly impossible to find unassembled in the original box! As you can see from the photos, the box has some flaws but is in good shape overall. More importantly, the crate itself is in LIKE NEW condition! The only flaw to the crate is a small punch hole in the paper label (see pics).  The end panels got moved around when i was taking pictures so it may look like both panels have a punch hole but that's not the case. Only one of the panels has the punch hole. 
There were a couple of different variations for the cardboard box that held the crate. The version listed here with the circular "windows" was the rarest version available for purchase and still remains the most difficult to find to this day. With regard to this crate kit, you have several options available to you. Obviously, you can assemble the crate and use it to store your vinyl collection. Or you can hang the end panels on the wall or put them on display in your man cave and/or music room. Or you can do what i did and just leave it in the original box and watch the value increase over time. This great piece of memorabilia from the 1970's shouldn't last very long, so don't hesitate! This may be the last time you see one of these unassembled record crate kits for a very long time.
