Outer gatefold cover has been taped on spine and edges, PROMO sticker on front, textured cover has some discoloration ( see photos). Includes original inner sleeve and lyric insert sheet VG. Vinyl has some light surface marks. Play tested and there is some surface noise but overall VG+.
Grading is done conservatively under a bright light.

Mint- An album that is unopened (sealed) and presumed to be in mint condition.
NM  Beautiful, like-new surfaces free from defects or flaws that will cause unwanted noise.
EX  Almost like-new.  One or maybe a few (at most) superficial marks that should have little to no effect on play.  Some people use 'VG++' for this grade.
VG+  A little bit more wear on the record, but nothing that would make it unpleasant to listen to.  A few to several surface marks, possibly one or two very small 'feelable' marks that may add a pop on each revolution.  I am a very picky record collector and many of my own records in my personal collection would get a VG+ grade and I have no problem with that.  VG+ does not mean bad :)
VG  Several to lots of surface marks that will add backround noise here or there.  Possibly some 'feelable' marks as well.
Good  A step lower with lots and lots of marks, both superficial and non-superficial.  Possibly a skip or three.
Covers have a similar grading system.  NM (near mint) covers are rare, with no wear, writing, tears, splits, etc.  Non-NM covers are graded based on wear, seam splits, tears, writing, and any other flaws that may be present.  Any flaw that is not just general wear (such as splits, tears, writing, etc.) will be mentioned in the auction.  Tracklist Out On The Weekend Harvest A Man Needs A Maid Heart Of Gold Are You Ready For The Country Old Man There's A World Alabama The Needle And The Damage Done Words (Between The Lines Of Age)
It was Neil Young’s first big hit: and despite his ‘legend’ status, he’s really not flirted with the mainstream that often. Heart Of Gold actually went to No. 1 in the US: according to Billboard’s own figures, Harvest was 1972’s best-selling album – more copies, even, than The Rolling Stones’ Exile On Main Street, Simon And Garfunkel’s Greatest Hits, Bowie’s Ziggy Stardust…
