Artist: Mable Scott Title: Mr. Fine b/w Mable Blues Format: 45 RPM Year: 1953 Label/Cat#: Parrot/NG Vol. 15 Condition of Disc: VG+ Description: Red vinyl edition of this classic in fine VG+ shape. This piece is in far above average shape than most of this genre. Disc only has wispy marks when tilted to light. I believe this disc to be very lightly played if at all judging by where I bought this. Any imperfection on this appears to just being shuffled around in a collection periodically through 60+ years.
Label on Mable Blues side shows some significant wear, Mr. Fine side label only exhibits slight wear. Without the label wear on side 1 I may have even bumped the grade of this disc to EX. The disc is very close to the best you could hope to find I would think, especially given the age.

Grading system follows:
Mint (NM): SEALED new perfect in every way, near impossible grade half your new records at record stores don't make this grade. No open record I list will be MINT. I generally only grade covers MINT Near Mint (NM): Vinyl should show no signs of wear, no marks. Should essentially be what you would expect when a new record is opened. Cover should follow suit, usually in perfect shrink. Excellent (EX): Not a Goldmine grade but in my opinion a grade that needs to be included to grade records with no more than a couple rub, sleeve, or small marks that do not affect play. A EX record should play very close to a NM record. Covers with only very slight wear or imperfection that slips it from NM grade. Very Good Plus (VG+) Should be acceptable to all but the most critical collector's. Light signs of play evident. Light marks peppered that do not affect play greatly if at all. Cover will have some minor imperfections. Very Good (VG) This grade is not junk. light marks can be peppered but disc should play very close to VG+. A VG disc will have a nice shine but will show some areas where there will be some clusters of light marks that affect play minimally. VG is not garbage it is a decent disc where the listening experience is still wholly enjoyable. VG cover will either have minor wear throughout or 1 to 2 significant problems that detract from a higher rating. Very Good Minus (VG-)(Good Plus (G+) in EBAY)-Try not to list a lot in this condition. If I do list VG- it is usually the cover. Discs will have light to moderate marks throughout. Covers will have 2 - 4 significant issues. VG- record will play with some issues but will not totally overwhelm listening experience.I do not list items in any lesser condition.
