Queen 'A Night At The Opera' white coloured vinyl LP - Dutch pressing 5C 062-97A
Queen's classic fourth album, released in 1975.
Vinyl LP: The disc has been carefully cleaned and play tested on headphones with a new stylus (fitted 1st Jan 2018). It plays superbly, with no skips, just three separate barely audible clicks throughout the entire album. I would grade this disc as a strong VERY GOOD +.
Labels: Side 1: Clean apart from some green marks either side of the EMI boxed logo and some small initials 'LD' on the right (see photo) Side 2: Clean. .
Inner sleeve: The original inner sleeve shows signs of wear and has a green mark on the front. The reverse has the small initials 'LD'. An import hole punch has been used on this album resulting in a tear to the top left hand corner of the inner sleeve, These Dutch and French white vinyl copies did not include the card picture inner sleeve that featured with the UK black vinyl releases.
Outer sleeve: The outer laminated gatefold sleeve shows some signs of wear but is still solid. The Queen logo is flat and not embossed as in the UK version. The aforementioned import hole punch can be seen on the front top left hand corner, and there are some small green marks. The reverse has some minor wear. The top edge has some wear, but the spine is very good. The inner gatefold is pretty clean apart from the import hole punch - I originally purchased this copy from the USA several years ago,(see photos).
A good quality plastic sleeve is also included.
A good example of this Queen rarity, and a great playing copy.
