All LPs are examined under a strong light and play-tested (except for MINT ones) on hi-fi equipment to prevent inaccurate grading.
M      mint, pristine condition or sealed 
NM   near mint, clean vinyl in wonderful shape 
VG+  clean and great vinyl, lightest scuffs or hairlines from inner 
VG    very good means still not bad! light wear, visible scuffs and possible scratches, but still playable and not bad / overused
