The Goldmine Record Grading System.
M (LP-45). As new and unplayed (Sealed)
M- (LP/45). Nearly Mint, but has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage.
EX (LP/45) close to like new with only superficial signs of use that don't affect play.
VG+/ (LP/45). Shows slight signs of wear. Light scuffs or scratches may be present, but they don't affect playback.
VG (LP/45). Obvious wear and handling, including visible groove wear, surface noise, audible scratches.
VG- (LP/45).Significant wear and handling, including significant surface noise, groove wear, ring wear, damaged or defaced labels or covers and seam splits. .

:::::: JACKET/SLEEVE GRADING SCALE ::::::
NM - Usually opened but with no obvious signs of wear.
EX: Light scuff marks, soft corner dings, very very light ring wear.
VG+ Minimal/light wear such as cut-out, light corner dings or edge wear, light discoloration or price sticker.
VG - May show wear such as corner dings, discoloration, sticker residue, ring wear, spine damage or seam splits, etc. Variances in quality within this grade are noted with a plus (+) or a minus (-) .
