DISC GRADE CHART:

NM (NEAR MINT) with a couple or less light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some extremely minor groove wear from play. Almost all of original luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There will be some very very light (minimal) background noise throughout playback with mostly clean bold audio. Some very minor occasional faint crackles, if any at all. Basically just opened out of shrink wrap. I hardly ever had this grade out, unless record truly deserves it. All other ebayers who claim NM, really have a EX(VG++) copy or less. Seriously only 3% or less of all vintage vinyl ever produced is still this clean!

EX(VG++) with just a few light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some minimal groove wear from repeat play. Most of the luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There will be some very light background noise throughout playback with mostly clean bold audio. Some occasional faint crackles, but mostly super clean!

VG+ with several light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some moderate groove wear from repeat play. Some of the luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There will be some very light static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Some occasional faint crackles, but mostly bold audio! There may be some faintly audible ?pop?s.

VG =  with many numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some moderate groove wear from repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are mostly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant light background noise throughout playback with mostly bold audio. Some occasional faint crackles, and possibly several audible "pop"s.

VG-/G+ = with many many numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some abusive needle drags and larger more pronounced scratches. Some heavy groove wear from repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are worn or slightly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant louder static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Faint crackles, and audible "pop"s throughout, still has bold sound. Not terribly overpowering of music.

GOOD = with many many numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some very abusive needle drags and even larger more pronounced scratches. Some very heavy groove wear from repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are worn or slightly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant louder static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Louder crackles, and "pop"s throughout, still has bold sound. Not terribly overpowering of music, but definitely audible and slightly distracting. Great entry level copies of rare or original press records.

FAIR = with thousands of numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some very abusive needle drags and even larger more pronounced scratches. Some very heavy groove wear from repeat play, abused repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are worn or slightly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant much louder static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Constant louder crackles, and "pop"s throughout, still has bold sound. Music maybe overpowered by background noise during some or all tracks. Close to the scrape heap, but still has some life.

**NOTE: an audible "pop" sound and a skip are two different things. Read Description! A "pop" is an audible noise from a hair or scratch, usually heard as a "click", "tick", or "crackle" sound. This "pop" will play through the scratch without any disturbance to continuity of music. A "pop" can have varying degrees of loudness, some are softer and others much louder or more pronounced. A SKIP will jump over part of a lyric or musical section of the song. On rare occasions a "pop" noise is so loud that it is almost heard as a skip. ***

All spines are partially intact with shelf wear fray, title spine barely legible, or not at all, with some fray patches and wear. Some variance of these conditions, see individual listings. Could have writing on cover, or stains ** Most of my grades in this category are for heavy splits to edges, usually less than 50% of spines are intact. In this case most are taped back together. Cover was almost two separate pieces of cardboard.

FAIR = barely acceptable, with moderate to heavy fade and/or ring wear. Many numerous creases and heavy scrape marks around cover art from handling, some corner bends/creases. All spines are barely intact with heavy shelf wear fray, title spine barely legible, or not at all, with some heavy fray patches and wear. Some variance of these conditions, see individual listings. Could have writing on cover, or stains ** Most of my grades in this category are for heavy splits to edges, usually less than 25% of spines are intact. In this case most are taped back together. Cover was almost two separate pieces of cardboard.

I DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON OPENED LP's that WERE FORMERLY SEALED. IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A REFUND, THE LP MUST BE SEALED WHEN IT GETS RETURNED. I'm am NOT responsible for any defects under the sealed LP, the LP is sold "AS IS" and is assumed MINT in shrink. 99% of all sealed LP's I sell or have opened are truly MINT, on occasion a small pressing defect or skip may occur. This was from the pressing plant, and I do NOT offer returns for Pressing Plant Flaws. Scratches, dimples, paper scuffs have occasionally been found once opened. Once the Sealed LP is open, it's your's! NO MATTER WHAT THE FLAW, I do NOT accept returns! The Buyer Accepts this Responsibility to adhere to my rules, and will not attempt to Return an OPENED LP that was Sealed. The Buyer agrees by purchasing this LP, that pressing plant flaws may be present under the sealed LP. Buyer accepts "AS IS" surface under sealed LP! NO Returns on Opened Sealed LP's, ever for any reason Buyer accepts this disclaimer by purchasing and can NOT return an opened LP.

I hate having to put this Disclaimer in there! I've sold hundreds of sealed LP's over the years and have never had a problem until recently. One of my customers opened a very expensive Sealed LP they bought from me, dropped and broke the record, and then tried to claim it came broken with pieces of surface missing! Absolute F**CKING LIAR! I had to battle a Return Request for 10 Days, and argued with Ebay for over 4 hours on phone before dismissing the RETURN! This one A$$Hole ruined it for everyone after him. All MY Sealed Records are heavily inspected for warps, and the entire circumference of LP's surface edge is felt (through the cover of each listed sealed record) to make sure the record is intact and not broken. Since all the value of a MINT LP comes from being sealed and not opened, I have no way other than an educated assumption to make sure the disc is truly MINT. Sorry customers, I'm very friendly with returns, I just don't want to have to argue with Ebay's customer service ever again. They recommended I put this disclaimer in the listings for Sealed Records!
