This listing is for one (1) 1987 GEORGE HARRISON CLOUD NINE LP vinyl record album on Dark Horse Records, cat# 9 25643-1. This LP comes from my personal record collection, so it has been handled and stored very carefully. It is used and is in very good playing condition with just a few visible light/minimal surface scuffs or scratches. The cover shows almost no shelf wear, and the inside jacket shows a little wear. Plays very clean, with a few audible pops and clicks here and there and some very light crackling in spots. Considered to be Harrison's comeback album, he received help from some of the best in the business when recording this landmark LP, including but not limited to Jeff Lynne, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Gary Wright, and Ringo Starr. Includes the #1 hit, "Got My Mind Set On You," as well as the hits, "When We Was Fab," and "This Is Love," plus the additional exceptional tracks, "That's What It Takes," "Fish On The Sand," "Devil's Radio," "Someplace Else," and "Wreck Of The Hesperus." Also contains the songs, "Cloud Nine," "Just For Today," and "Breath Away From Heaven." This album not only did well around the world, charting in the Top 10 in six countries, but helped set the stage for the formation of perhaps the most famous super-group of all time, the Traveling Wilburys. As a bonus, you'll receive a rare original 45rmp, 7-inch single of George Harrison's hit, "Cheer Down," from the 1989 soundtrack to the movie, Lethal Weapon 2. This rare 7-inch single also includes the song, "That's What It Takes," on the B-side, is in very good condition, and includes the original sleeve (see photos). A nice addition to anyone's LP collection!
