This item is not for sale. Gripsweat is an archive of past sales and auctions, none of the items are available for purchase.
Lots of other stuff for sale, check my other auctions. I combine postage where possible. UK Record Collector grading used. Anything that sells for more than A$100 MUST be sent with insurance and tracking. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Original crazy-rare Australian Quad LP (CBS SQP 234651) in gatefold sleeve. These hardly ever turn up for sale, very few were sold.
Sleeve is VG; spine and edges are intact but it does have some light creasing and light wear as shown. Sadly the postcard is missing.
Record VG to VG+. Only light wear and light crackle throughout. Some parts more like EX.
SPECIAL NOTE: I graded this after deep cleaning with Record Revirginizer to remove as much noise as possible and then played it on a Kenwood KD500 table with a Grace 707 Quad-designed Tonearm with Ortofon cartridge. I normally don’t get impressed much any more after collecting vinyl for nearly 30 years (and I’m not that big a fan of Floyd) however I listened to parts of this through my headphones and was blown away at the level of detail in the sound. Obviously on a quad setup this blows away any other mix out there as a listening experience.
Include into the equation this is one of the lowest selling quadraphonic versions of this LP and you have a surefire collectible for any Pink Floyd collector, or anyone who appreciates decent vinyl.
Bid while you can!
