You're bidding on one of my PRIZED possessions out of my memorabilia collection, and I wanted to try to make this a fun auction, so I'm starting the bidding WAY WAY WAY lower than the price I paid for this album.  I'd really like to see some bidding rather than sniping (lol) so I'm trying to inspire that.
I bought this Dylan album off a very reputable company on an Ebay transaction (can't find the paperwork I've moved so many times now), but If you search my history on ebay I'm sure you can find the original transaction.  I paid a LOT more than what I'm starting it at, so let's have some fun :).
Condition wise, it looks excellent on the outside, as it's been protected by the very thick album plastic sleeve cover.  What lies below I have no idea, as I've never had the. balls to open it.  I bought it NEW and UNOPENED, and that's the way it's stayed :).  The only REAL damage I can find to the cover is that on the side where the album comes out (if you were to open it), the plastic has worn away and there's an opening in the plastic where the record can stick through.  Aside from that it looks GREAT!  Color is nice and bright as you can see from the photos.  If there's any reflection, that's because I didn't want to take it out of the original packaging. There's also a little corner crush on one side of the album but barely noticeable.
Now for the stats:this is the 1963 Bob Dylan Freewheelin' Bob Dylan 360 degree Stereo Sound Version CS 8786.  It was pressed and released by Columbia Records in 1963, and produced by the infamous John Hammond.  At the bottom of the album cover you can see "Columbia", Marcas Reg. Printed in U.S.S copywrite Columbia Records 1963/All Rights Reserved.
On the spine is the number CS8786 and Bob Dylan, 14 vertical lines, then The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan.  No, I doubt this is the 10,000 dollar version that everyone looks for, but it's a VERY clean, beautiful representation of probably one of the most influential albums of the 1900s, going on to inspire the Beatles, Hendrix, 3rdSide, and so many others.
I am NOT an album collector, so that's all the info I have for you.  I mainly collected memorabilia, as I'm a musician, and who can have a music memorabilia collection without a first edition copy of little Bobby Dylan's AMAZING official first album.
Have some fun with this auction...I know Bob would smoke my eyelids and punch my cigarette if he knew I was sellin' it!  I'm setting a flat fee of 10 dollars to ship, which should be less than half of what it actually costs, so I'll be paying the lion's share.
Please ask any and all questions before end of auction, and thanks for looking!
Also, I'll be shipping fed ex and requesting a direct signature (at my own 5 dollar expense) to ensure no one picks this album up off your front porch :).
