Now this is a Very Rare Record!  The rarest  records in the World  are Test Pressings & Radio Station Promos due to their extremely small numbers! Radio Promos records were exclusively distributed by the manufacturers to Radio Station to  be played & promoted on air by the DJ.The number of Radio Stations broadcasting during this era in Australia would have been no more than 150 in total.Of this number not all would have promoted this particular style of music & some not playing music of any kind.It is estimated at most maybe 100 stations would be applicable.Generally the Station received 2 records from the manufacturers.One was the Master Copy to be promoted- the other was a "Back-Up"or Duplicate copy in case of some misfortune or accident  happening to the Master Copy.Many Duplicate copies were never needed & never played,making them the rarest,however the Master Copy was only lightly played over the short time of the promotion & played on superior equipment. As a result they were generally free of scratches & excessive wear- making them the superior choice compared to all others sold in the retail marketplace In addition they were stored in a thick studio cover & protected- unlike the thin paper covers of those sold on the retail market.Another added attraction for collectors is that they had a background "History".with the  dates played on Air stamped or written on the cover giving them a genuine record history of the number of times played,important to those seeking quality or near mint condition! With only 200 or so of these records originally distributed,they were already extremely rare,however they are now insanely rare because most of them were worthless & discarded by the stations when CD's replaced them! Very few of those left have survived over the passage of the many decades of time since then! I predict these will rocket up in price to staggering figures in the near future as more collectors become aware of their extreme rarity!!! . This is a genuine DJ Promo Record  issued to a Australia ( Qld) Radio Station from the manufacturers to promote in 1963.The record is still in the original radio station protective sleeve.It appears to be the Duplicate copy which has no recording dates on the cover!  
This record is not quite in the near pristine condition as my others Still retaining it's original high shine & only played on rare occasions with no spindle wear or spindle marks..Just a a few more than normal  small light scratches/scuffs,not affecting the sound,& some tape & tape residue on label that can be removed with care This early recording by Elvis is now 57 years old! It is a very rare radio promo in VG Condition at a low price!    
This Record has been selected from my personal collection that have been passionately amassed over the past 50 years.Now they are being passed on to those who appreciate Rarity & Quality--without the usual High Price!
