TOM WAITS 'RAIN DOGS' 1985 STEREO LP.

  

Pressed in England and released on Island Records ILPS 9083.

 

Play grades as VG+.

 

On both sides all musical & vocal passages play clearly & brightly.

 

There are no sticks, jumps or skips and no evidence of any groove wear at all. In many places this play grades as EX, however there is a little short lived, quiet background crackle in several places on both sides as well as in the run in areas. 

 

When tilted under normal lighting side 1 appears to be unmarked except for a 2cm. light scratch on the edge. Side 2 has a short, light mark near the edge and also has a visible surface mark that runs across from about 5 to 7 o'clock. These marks are all non-sounding.

 

When tilted under halogen lights both sides have a few more light marks visible with side 2 having more than side 1. 

There is also a small edge wobble which has no effect on play.

 

Sleeve grades as VG.

 

Has a few small surface score marks on Tom's shoulder on the front cover. There is also some light edge wear. 

 

Lyric inner sleeve grades as EX.

I USE RECORD COLLECTOR GRADINGS AND USE A +/- WHERE I FEEL THAT IT'S APPROPRIATE.

I dispatch records in brand new, bought in mailers designed for the process. Before placing in the mailer I take LPs out of the sleeve place both in a polysleeve and between two card stiffeners and if there is a picture sleeve I place the LP in a plain sleeve to prevent knifing of the picture sleeve. [all this costs £0.80/single LP].

 

I normally ship within 1/2 working days of receipt of payment.

 

All items are shipped using Royal Mail and I always obtain proof of posting for items.

United Kingdom shipments should arrive in 2-5 business days from date of shipping.

 

For International buyers, shipping is by air mail and shipments should arrive in 5- 10 business days from date of shipping.
