PRETTY MUCH BRAND NEW 2 X DENON DJ DN-S3700 Product InformationWhether you’re an experienced DJ or just starting out on stage, the Denon DN-S3700 turntable gives you what you need. This Denon unit is specifically engineered to play disc media in a variety of formats, including CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and CD-ROM. You’ll always know what kind of media you’re playing, too, because the device displays that information on a handy screen. You’ll get full rotation speed within half of a second of loading your media into the convenient start-up slot. No one will suspect the Denon DN-S3700 isn’t an old-fashioned turntable because a vinyl record is mounted on its 9-inch platter. This vinyl record has four tracks, which you can also play on a standard analog record player if you’d like. This piece of Denon equipment has the capacity to interface with a wide assortment of audio and video DJ apps. It can work with apps that use both Mac and PC operating systems. So long as your DJ software applications support a USB MIDI interface, you’re good to go. If your software doesn’t have built-in MIDI support, you may even be able to customize the app to work with your Denon. This Denon equipment has a USB port into which you can easily plug a thumb drive, a hard drive, or an iPod. That way you can access up to 50,000 mp3 or .wav files when you perform at parties. This Denon device also features internal 24-bit processing as well as an internal audio sound card. This piece of Denon digital DJ equipment features both auto loop and manual loop functionality. It also features three platter effects: an echo effect, a flanging effect, and a filter effect. The echo effect repeats the same set of musical notes as they grow fainter and finally disappear. The flanging effect is that acoustic distortion you get when a sound like a railroad whistle changes pitch as it travels. Filter effects can curb either high frequencies or low frequencies, depending on the DJ’s whim now. You can monitor the intensity of any of these effects by watching the display on the lower left of your Denon unit. Your Denon deck functions as a controller that lets you make the volume of these sound effects louder or softer. You’ll find the CD loading slot on the front panel of your DN-S3700 music player. On the back panel, you’ll find analog and digital output terminals, and two USB ports for connecting to mass storage devices. One mass storage device at a time can be connected to your Denon DN-S3700. The play/pause and cue buttons on the front of your deck are made of a resilient rubber material that responds quickly to a light touch. There's also a Quick Jump button and a Fast Search button; these will allow you to skim for the right track without using your platter. There’s an Inlay Reverse switch, too, and when you hit it, Denon decks will start playing backward. You’ll know when your device is playing backward because a red indicator light will go on.
