From Columbia Records in 1970 comes The Byrds’ 11th release UNTITLED.  UNTITLED is a two-record set with one of the LPs recorded live. Along with the classic Byrds’ tunes like MR. TAMBOURINE MAN - SO YOU WANT TO BE A ROCK N ROLL STAR, there is a live version of EIGHT MILES HIGH which runs just over 16 minutes. The Byrds’ last real hit song CHESTNUT MARE is also on this recording as are two songs authored by Bob Dylan.

UNTITLED reunited The Byrds with their original producer/manager/mentor, Jim Dickson. Another long tIme Byrds’ producer, Terry Melcher, is the co-producer. At the time UNTITLED was recorded, the group ws only five years old and guitarist/songwriter Roger McGuuinn remained the only original member. However, he had excellent support from long-time Byrds’ contributer - and an exceptional guitarist in his on right - Clarence While. Gram Parsons even returned to sing harmony on ALL THE THINGS. The other band members on this album were Gene Parsons and Skip Batin.
