Very Good Plus vinyl on this scarce PROMO copy of Nigeria's King Sunny Ade's third LP on Island Records, the follow-up to the (also) acclaimed LPs "JuJu Music" and ""Synchro System". We are also including the RARE original 2 page letter from Island Records giving a brief bio / history of "Chairman" Sunny and his music. Very cool album! The cover has the PROMO gold stamp mid-top on the back, and has three small stickers on the front, one price tag, one denoting 'promo', and one that says 'press kit'. The edges of the cover have some wear, the corners are somewhat rough-ish and bumped, and some very small bend wrinkles along the edges, with a pretty legible spine. NO splitting, still a very solid cover. The vinyl is a STERLING master for superior sound quality, and is clean, colorful, with NO scratches, but a tiny bit of 'ghosting' on the edge of Side Two Song One, often found on vintage vinyl, but does not affect sound. This has been cleaned with an enzyme cleaner and then finished with a SpinClean. Very clean. PLEASE, see all photos before bidding or buying this great LP.
