Hate to do it as it's biggest diamond in my Metallica collection (check my selling history, signed Scary Guy is number 2) but offered for sale is a Metallica “Kill'em All" album signed by all members including Cliff Burton on 9/14/85 at Metal Hammer Festival (Germany). 
Just have a look at these beautiful signatures and compare them with other "signed" stuff. When I bought it in 2008 it went with certificate of authenticity (see pic) and back then when I looked for Cliff-signed stuff I waited long for something real to appear. It's real.  Album and the cover are in pretty good condition.

You can say that certificate doesn't look too trustworthy. Yes, quite agree with you. But have some positive moments here.
1. I bought the album from the trusted seller who has his own record shop. 2. We have the name of the the person who took autographs and the place (with date)  where it happened. 3. And finally, try to find other signed stuff to understand how real signatures look like. Take special look at James signature. For me it's impossible to make a fake signature like that.
