RARE maroon label first issue, Chipmunks pictured as animals
Liberty Records LRP 3159 - 1960 - mono - Made in USA
This is the ORIGINAL issue of the album which depicted three realistic looking chipmunks on the cover sharing space with a photo of David Seville.
When the album was reissued one year later, a new cover was substituted, with the chipmunks looking more animated.
Therefore this is a TRUE and RARE collectible!
The record itself is in excellent condition and the cover has wear for its age with frayed corners and edges, small tears and the bottom being cut open. (SEE PHOTOS)
