This test pressing of the 2002 Tremulant EP 12" by The Mars Volta was purchased directly from Sonny Kay, the graphic designer who designed most of Omar Rodriguez’ solo album covers.

He sold a lot of the test pressings from his personal collection in December 2014.

The catalog numbers, titles and/or remarks written on the paper sleeves of the test pressings I’m selling were written on by Sonny.

This is a quote from the announcement he made regarding the sale of these records on the comatorium:

‘All records are from my personal collection and have never changed hands before.
All are original, black vinyl, generic pressing plant labels, generic paper sleeves, no jackets or other artwork.
Most are UNPLAYED/mint condition. The few that have been played have had no more than 3 plays each and are clean.’

And very importantly: ‘Pressing info provided is 100% accurate.’ So you can rest assured it still is ;)

Never personally played any of the test pressings I’m selling myself, hence the condition is as mint as it was before they came to be in my possession. All records have been kept in generic black cardboard vinyl sleeves for extra protection.
