Here is a super clean DJ copy of Herb Ward’s 45 rpm record
“Strange Change” and “Why Do You Want To
Leave Me”. Argo Number 5510. It is a DJ
promo copy with the number 65-C8992 on the Strange Change side and 65-C8993 on
the other side. Both of those numbers
are hand etched into the center and both are scratched out (see photo). There is also a second number hand etched in to
the unrecorded center, 13953 on the Strange Change side and 13954 on the other
side, these numbers are not scratched out.
The word Virtue is also hand etched on each side in the center unrecorded
portion. The record is in super clean condition with a great clean label on
both sides and There are no scratches on either side that we can see. It plays
great on both sides. It is in a plain
white sleeve. Came from a musician’s
estate with other DJ and promo records. A
great clean DJ promo copy of a Northern Soul classic.
