Up for auction is an insanely rare sealed original of the Ike Turner album A Black Man's Soul, originally released on Pompeii Records (SD 6003) in 1969:
-Guaranteed original pressing, NOT recent reissue like most on eBay -Still factory sealed -Original paste-down cover -1841 Broadway address on cover -Factory breathe holes in shrink wrap -No UPC/bar code on cover
Note: Original factory sealed copies of this R&B classic rarely come up for sale, especially in this condition. Reissues have sold for more than I am asking for this sealed original. Good luck finding another one!
Condition: -Cover looks very nice, and is still beautifully protected by original shrink.
-Has very small factory cut out in lower right (see photo).
-Three of the corners show some light bumps.
-Back cover looks generally clean and bright, but has a couple small age spots here and there (see photos).
-Shrink is intact and tight. No significant wear, just some light rubbing. No splits, completely sealed, never resealed.
-Has some old sticker residue on front upper right corner.
-Overall, very well preserved original! Hard to upgrade. Grade: Near Mint Minus (NM-) or Excellent Plus (EX)
Vinyl is presumed to be in Mint (M) condition, unopened, unplayed, never resealed.
NOTE:
I do not accept returns on sealed albums once they have been opened. This is standard policy for the vintage record industry.
Combined Shipping:
Yes, I offer significant combined shipping discounts. Just ask!
International Shipping:
Because
of unreliable postal services, I ship using eBay's Global Shipping
Program only, no exceptions. It protects both the buyer and seller
against loss or damage.
How I Pack Your Records:
I
remove the records with inner sleeves from the covers prior to
packing. I sandwich the record between two pieces of cardboard for
padding and protection. I also reinforce the corners of the shipping
box to protect the corners of the record jacket from damage.
100%
satisfaction guaranteed, no risk buying. My 100% positive feedback
allows you to buy with confidence. Returns accepted, no questions
asked.
About Me: -I have been a record collector for over 40 years and a seller on eBay for over 20 years.
-I consider myself a professional, not someone who is selling records he found at a garage sale like many on eBay.
-I try to grade accurately -- beware of sellers who claim they grade "conservatively" -- rarely is that the case.
-I don't just give a record a grade, but I also explain why I give it the grade that I do. -I explain why I describe a record as "original" or a "first pressing" -- most records on sold on eBay as original are NOT. -I visually grade my records, and sometimes spot-test them for audio quality -- I can't listen to them all the way through. -Every stereo system is different, and what sounds good on mine may not sound good on yours. If so, return it. -Every seller makes mistakes not matter how much experience they have -- record selling is NOT a perfect science. -If I make a mistake, or the record isn't what you expected, return it for a full refund -- and I will pay for return shipping. -I have 100% positive feedback for a reason -- and I strive to keep it that way by being accurate about what I sell.
