Up for auction is a beautiful original promo copy of the Public Enemy album Fear Of A Black Planet, originally released on Def Jam Records (C 45413) in 1990:
-Guaranteed original 1st pressing, not reissue -Still in opened factory shrink wrap -Original hype sticker -Original lyrics warning sticker -Original inner sleeve w/ liner notes -MASTERDISK/DMM mastering etched in deadwax -Rare promotional press kit which includes:   -3-page Biography   -Release announcement   -8" X 10" black & white photo of Public Enemy -Vinyl comes in poly audiophile protective inner sleeve
Note: These promo press kits are incredibly rare, especially in this condition: clean and crisp, no significant signs of handling.  You won't be seeing another one of these in this condition anytime soon.

Condition: Cover is beautiful, still protected by original opened shrink wrap.  No significant signs of age or wear, aside from a tiny rub spot lower right corner where the shrink is open.  Hardly worth mentioning.  Shrink is in great condition, no tears or losses, no significant ring wear or age discoloration.  Very shiny.  Looks brand new.  Top copy, hard to upgrade. Grade: Near Mint (NM)
Vinyl is also beautiful, still has its original glossy shine.  No apparent scratches or scuffs, just some faint superficial signs of having been taken out of paper inner sleeve a couple times.  Spindle holes are clean, no signs of wear.  Looks like it's maybe been played only once previously but handled with care.  Top copy, hard to upgrade. Grade: Near Mint (NM)

How I Pack Your Records:
I remove the records with inner sleeves from the covers prior to packing.  I sandwich the record between two pieces of cardboard for padding and protection.  I also reinforce the corners of the shipping box to protect the corners of the record jacket from damage.
