Here are the debut recordings from Alice Jayne, and they're pretty much as good as it gets! Coupling her amazing voice with one of the best bands around, produced something very special. Disc one kicks off with "One Good Reason" which is the perfect 'feel good' song, that's just crying out for radio play. It's backed with the mellowed out version of "I Want You", which features one of the best vocal performances I've ever heard. Disc two has a really rockin' take of the Feelgood's "She Does It Right" (a long way from the original), whilst over on the flip is the rockabilly version of "I Want You". What's not to like!
As mentioned, these recordings feature one of the top bands around, made up of; Tony Diavolo (guitar), Andy Wren (guitar), Ian Bowerman (drums), Wayne Hopkins (bass) and Adam Burney (harmonica) known collectively as the Southern Sound. An awesome bunch of musicians, if ever there was!
Finally, a quick word about the packaging. It's as lush as it's possible to get, and the cover is so glossy, it doubles up as a mirror!
All records are sent out in purpose built packaging, with sleeves and records packed separately to avoid seem splitting.
