100% FEEDBACK

The Japanese vinyl (especially 70's) is often much better than most because the manufacturing is more exact and the material of a high quality. They are more averse to static, which means that over time the record attracts less dust and dirt and the vinyl lasts longer and plays cleaner.  Although the vinyl is better, Japanese paper stocks, labels and covers are more prone to foxing (brown spots) which are all part of the ageing process.
The difference I've found is in the depth and clarity and is especially more noticeable (to my ears) in the base frequencies. - It's like the pixel resolution on a digital image 72dpi vs 300dpi.
