1972 Cased Set of 19 LP Records Wagner’s The Ring of the Nibelung, Wilhelm Furtwängler Conductor

This is the whole set of Seraphim records, very sparingly used years ago and then inherited by us, and we have never played them for lack of the proper equipment.  Eighteen of the records are the four parts of the Richard Wagner The Ring of the Nibelungen as shown here and the 19th record is the Seraphim Guide to the “Ring”, a synopsis and musical analysis of “Ring of the Nibelung” illustrating the principal motifs from the recordings by Wilhelm Furtwängler for Radio Italiana in 1953. 

The Rheingold, Walküre, Siegfried and Götterdämmerung records are complete in their original sleeves in their original boxes with their librettos in German and English, all in the original case.  The 48 year old vinyl records themselves are in very, very nice condition.  Rather than more verbiage, we include excellent photos for potential bidders.  Be sure to look through all of them.
