RARE Black Sabbath debut album Vertigo Swirl MISPRESS 
Hi and welcome to my listing for this mega rare DUTCH mispress of Black Sabbaths' debut album. These vinyl's do not come on the market very often and are extremely scarce.
The research I have carried out is in conjunction with the vertigo swirl specialist website confirms that a very few of these early albums ( early indicated by the two copyright control logos after the 331/3 on the label ) were released with mispresses of Black Sabbath's debut album playing Manfred Mann's Chapter III on the A side ( very prog. rock ) whilst Sabbath was pressed on the B side.
The album itself I would say is in excellent condition as is the gatefold laminated sleeve ( just slight wear on the corners and inside edges ).
The reference numbers are as follows :- Black Sabbath - 1970 Vertigo VO6 847 903 VTY D ( indicating Dutch pressing ) Run-Off side A - AA 847 903 1 2VP 1970 670  111 Run-Off side B - AA 847 902 1 V1P 1969 670 03 115
' AA ' is an internal code indicating a Philips pressing '  670 ' is the country code and ( P ) 1970 shows the release date.
So a mega-rare mispress which hopefully appeals to Black Sabbath collectors, Vertigo Swirl collectors, Manfred Mann collectors even to collectors of rare mispresses.
