Never mind the Covid – here’s the limited edition Detroit A-Go-Go 10 inch mini-LP.
Lockdown led to the postponement of the huge Detroit A-Go-Go Weekender in Leeds scheduled to take place this month, but undeterred the event has hit back with this vinyl treat.
All 6 featured artists, Spyder Turner, The Tomangoes, Yvonne Vernee, The Fabulous Peps, Ronnie McNeir and The Fantastic Four, have become part of the Go-Go family after appearing at the epic shows in 2017, 2018 and 2019 over in the Motor City attended by 300 Brit Soul invaders plus hundreds more Americans.
The tracks are the original much loved 1960s original recordings with the exception of “Pin Point It Down” which is a stunning remake recorded by new look The Fantastic Four especially for last year’s Go-Go.
And all 6 tracks sound better than ever after being magically remastered for the 10”.
