"Peter And The Wolf" by Prokofiev was recorded in 1941 by Columbia Masterworks as a 3 record(6 sides) set. The All-American Orchestra, conducted by Leopold Stokowski, uses various instruments to represent the animal characters in the story.  The story is also told by the narrator, Basil Rathbone, to the accompaniment of the music. This classic was originally intended to help children identify the various instruments in an orchestra by associating the instrument with an animal in the story.  This set of records is in very good condition with no obvious scratches or damage to the records or labels.  The cover is worn on the edges due to age and use but otherwise is in good condition.  Sleeves are also in good condition and have protected the records for more than 70 years.  The records measure 12 inches in diameter and the album itself is about 12" x 14".  Thank you for looking.
