I'm disposing of my 1960s and 70s vinyl LPs.
This one's The Small Faces' Original "Ogden's Nut Gone Flake" LP First Pressing Mono 1968, bought new by me in (yes) 1968. It's a pale lilac coloured "Immediate" label, marked MONO  IMLP 012. In addition Side 1 is marked on the label (upside down) IMLP 1Y and Side 2 IMLP 2Y The "run-off" on Side 1 is marked H at 3 o'clock, IMLP 012-1L at 6 o'clock and 1 at 9 o'clock Side 2 "run-off" is marked G D at 3 o'clock, IMLP 012-2L at 6 o'clock and 2 at 9 o'clock The Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd printed sleeve states "U.K. Patent Application No. 21639/68" on the back.
I must have played it quite a lot in the late '60s, but I put it back in its cover around 50 years ago and have never played it since. I don't even possess a deck to play it on any more, but as far as I know it's got no major faults. I took care of my LPs in the '60s - they were expensive! You can see that it's been played a few times but not over played, in my opinion. There are some surface marks/scratches noted on the playing surface but there were no skips or jumps during playing, and nothing really annoying that I recall. It might benefit from a professional cleaning. The fold-out cover is in good nick given its age. One of the hinges has gone, and others are delicate, but it's clean and there are no repairs, no marks or writing or stickers on it. The disc is still in its original transparent sleeve, though the opening slit is a bit tatty.
I'm not a dealer, and not familiar with grading techniques, so please be guided by the photos, and if you need any further info or details please message me and I'll get back to you as quickly as I can.
Sorry, no " Buy it Now" or "Best Offer" on this LP - it's for auction only.
