Idon’t grade MINT or Nr MINT unless they are truly that and in overthirty years of record collecting there are very few truly MINTrecords to be found. This is due to the fact you are taking in toconsideration essentially a piece of plastic that is open to allelements like pressing static and differing audio equipment such ascartridges, and of course wear and tear.

CLASSICALRECORDS : Classical records are graded to the strictest of gradingdue to the nature of the music. These gradings are much higher thanperhaps a jazz or rock LP.

Itry to give actual descriptions where possible describing the musicalpiece. So a grading of say EX compared to other genres may be inreality EX+ or Nr MINT. Most rare classical records will be playtested.
