The Allman Brothers Band's tenth studio album 'Shades of Two Worlds' is a work where the group went back to their music improvisations. Dickey Betts and Gregg Allman summoned up the spirit of the original band. 'Nobody Knows' is the standout track, with a coursing, jazzy jam with instrumental swells, percolating drum tracks, and dramatic lead vocal that recall the band's salad days. Gregg Allman was the solo keyboardist on the record and he created some original and impressive compositions.
