RUSH PERMANENT WAVES Epic 25 3P-221 Japanese 1st Pressing RARE & EXCELLENT!!! Incredible copy of RUSH iconic PERMANENT WAVES from 1980 pressed in Japan in an excellent condition.... simply a stunning copy...the intro to Natural Science is just sublime with the rockpool sequence and there are little extra nuances throughout due to this pressing. I have just sold my 1st German pressing and this is better ( yes i do have another Jap copy for me ! )... there are ZERO clicks, ticks ,flickers or any interference .... This Japanese pressing and release is a first press complete with Japanese language insert though no Obi..  Some early Japanese pressings are as beefy as their US/Euro counterpart pressings and this album is exceptional in sound quality and .....it maybe my wishful ears but I feel the guitar and bass drum is stronger on this pressing and there is a crystal clarity on the higher end notes. Run ins are all silent..The sleeve ( typical Japanese sleeve which is hardier than the flimsier US/UK/ Euro sleeves ) is near perfect, spine is tight and full with almost zero damage and the vinyl itself plays beautifully ( only played once ) with no issues AT ALL ,  the production for import vinyl of that decade is superb  Highly likely that this is virgin vinyl as most Japanese records were pressed using high quality “virgin” vinyl that was manufactured exclusively for pressing records. These records are often extraordinarily quiet and have little or no surface noise, allowing the listener a better listening experience. In addition, English-language music titles were usually pressed in fairly small quantities in Japan, meaning all of the discs were likely pressed while the stampers were still fairly new.
Stored in vinyl sleeve only removed for photograph.
