Here's a nice SPECIAL RADIO EDITION one LP DEMONSTRATION LP with the highlights from Jeff Wayne's "War Of The Worlds", which was a double LP when released. This has less story dialogue and most of the actual songs from the record, including the big hit from this album, "Forever Autumn", sung by Justin Hayward of The Moody Blues (he also sings "Eve Of The War", the opening track). Also on here is some narration by Richard Burton, "Brave New World" by David Essex (of "Rock On" fame) and "Spirit Of Man" sung by Phil Lynott (of Thin Lizzy) and Julie Covington, and "Thunder Child" sung by Chris Thompson. Great edited 1 LP version of the original double LP, this is from 1978. The cover on here is in great shape with just some corner bumping, a bit of the white cover is fading a bit from its 40+ years of life, a very legible spine, and NO splitting. The LP has a couple of sleeve marks but NO scratches, lots of color, clean and shiny, and it has a Demo / Not For Sale WHITE LABEL. Very nice copy, get it while we've got the one. At least now, we also have a copy of the original double LP in Spanish in our store as well, very scarce to rare.
