**People always try to grade rare LP's higher, I'm just anal retentive legit with grading vinyl, Expect Amazing Quality and Accurate Grades**
DISC: VG-/G+ with many numerous faint hairlines, many numerous scratches (some felt to touch) on both sides. The audio is still brilliant and enjoyable. Side 2 has many more scratches than side 1. Side 2 track 2 will produce many audible clicks and pops during playback. The background noise and clicks are a bit much at times during this song, but the rest of the album plays much better. The background noise is drastically reduced by cleaning the album prior to playback. I've owned this copy for at least 8 years and played it hundreds of times. Every time I gave the album a bath in a spin clean prior to playing, the background noise was drastically reduced. **This is an entry level copy for someone looking to get into the Blue Note scene and see the amazing sound quality for themselves. I would not have kept this album for this long if it was not still enjoyable to listen to. **Please take the time to see all pictures of the albums surface, most notably picture #7*** Side 1 is Deep Groove only, side 2 regular. The words "Inc" and the Copyright "R" are on both sides of the labels.
COVER: VG with some light fade to the black hues of the front cover, a light peel off scrape section on the "E" of the word "Blue". Some creases and light corner bumps etc to cover. The spines are all 95% intact with a small 1/2 inch split on the bottom spine by insert side. The title spine legible. The back cover has bright whites to the cover, there is a fold crease to the right half of the cover from someone not gluing the back cover perfectly squared off (factory defect). The back cover has the original " 43 West 61st St., New York 23" address. The original Blue Note inner sleeve is present with some tears, creases, folds and small rips etc. Some seem splits to some of the sides of the inner sleeve.

DISC GRADE CHART:

NM (NEAR MINT) with a couple or less light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some extremely minor groove wear from play. Almost all of original luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There will be some very very light (minimal) background noise throughout playback with mostly clean bold audio. Some very extremely minor occasional faint crackles, if any at all. Basically just opened out of shrink wrap. I hardly ever had this grade out, unless record truly deserves it. All other ebayers who claim NM, really have a EX(VG++) copy or less. Seriously only 3% or less of all vintage vinyl ever produced is still this clean!

EX(VG++) with just a few light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, possibly some paper scuffs, some minimal groove wear from repeat play. Most of the luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There will be some very light background noise occasionally during playback with mostly clean bold audio. Any background noise will be heard during quiet passes, in between tracks, and on intro and dead waxes.

VG+ with several light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides (could be larger or thicker hairs or scratches, audio quality is most important), some moderate groove wear from play. Some of the luster remains, labels are mostly clean. There will be some very light (to moderate) static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Some occasional faint crackles but nothing terribly overpowering music. Majority of background noise will be heard during quiet passes, in between tracks, and on intro and dead waxes, still some will be heard during music.

VG =  with many numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides (could be larger or thicker hairs or scratches, audio quality is most important), some moderate to heavy groove wear from repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are mostly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant light background noise throughout playback with mostly bold audio. Some occasional faint crackles, and possibly several audible "pop"s. No background noise overpowers music, still a respectable players copy! Majority of background noise will be heard during quiet passes, in between tracks, and on intro and dead waxes, still some will be heard during music.

VG-/G+ = with many many numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some abusive needle drags and larger more pronounced scratches. Some heavy groove wear from repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are worn to slightly clean, could have writing or peel off, most will not have either. There will be some constant louder static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Faint crackles, and a few to several audible "pop"s throughout, still has bold sound. Not terribly overpowering of music. Still a very respectable players copy! **MY VG-/G+ is Most other Ebayers VG to VG+, I swear to you!** Majority of background noise will be heard during quiet passes, in between tracks, and on intro and dead waxes, still some will be heard during music.

GOOD = with many many numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some very abusive needle drags and even larger more pronounced scratches. Some very heavy groove wear from repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are worn or slightly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant louder static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Louder crackles, and "pop"s throughout, still has bold sound. Not terribly overpowering of music, but definitely audible and slightly distracting. Great entry level copies of rare or original press records. Majority of background noise will be heard during quiet passes, in between tracks, and on intro and dead waxes, still some will be heard during music.

FAIR = with thousands of numerous light faint fine shallow hairs on both sides, some very abusive needle drags and even larger more pronounced scratches. Some very heavy groove wear from repeat play, abused repeat play. Some to NO luster remains, labels are worn or slightly clean, could have writing or peel off. There will be some constant much louder static background noise throughout playback with bold audio. Constant louder crackles, and "pop"s throughout, still has bold sound. Music maybe overpowered by background noise during some or all tracks. Close to the scrape heap, but still has some life.
