This is a box set of three 7-inch 45rpm red vinyl discs featuring transfers from 78rpm recordings made by Rosa Ponselle between 1924 and 1939.  The items included may clearly be seen on the front cover of the box. The set, which comes with a leaflet containing notes about Miss Ponselle's career and the works included on the recordings, was issued by RCA Victor in its 'A Treasury of Immortal Performances' series, with the catalogue number WCT 55 (3).
Although the vinyl of the three discs appears clean, the surfaces are quite noisy, albeit that the music itself may be heard clearly.  (However, I do not have a 'mono' button on my amplifier, so the surface noise is exaggerated by being heard in the left and right channels, while the recordings themselves emanate from the centre.)  Given the age of the discs, I suspect they may benefit from being cleaned on a professional machine.

Please note that the discs will require a central 'core' on a turntable: they were clearly designed for auto-play, as side 1 is combined with side 6, side 2 with 5 and side 3 with 4.  Two of the three discs have the original sleeves: I have placed a brand-new 7" antistatic sleeve around the third one.

The outer box itself is in very good condition commensurate with its age, albeit showing some signs of wear.  The four-page leaflet is in excellent condition.  Please see the eight photographs accordingly, disregarding any reflections caused by the use of flash.
