George Harrison All Things Must Pass Vinyl 3 LP Apple STCH 639 1970 VG+ Media. Condition is "Used".
A contender for the Best Solo Beatle Album, this mammoth 3-record offering shone on and let shine The Quiet Beatle right as they broke up and gave us perennial favorites like "My Sweet Lord" and "What Is Life." Ringo, Klaus Voorman, Billy Preston, and Clapton all helped. Even Mal Evans, roadie extraordinary, pitched in with tambourine!
This is a 1970 pressing and has been in air conditioning since it was new (was my dad's, then mine, now I'm downsizing). The vinyl is spectacular, the inner sleeves are beautiful, and the poster is here and is almost flawless, waiting to be hung up for the first time!
Imperfections:
-The left side of the box, both top and bottom, is losing and has lost some of its thin fabric. This is where the spine would be on a regular LP and contains the album title and catalog number.
-Also, the first and second inner sleeves are partially split at bottom, allowing the records to slip through (no doubt from dropping them in the sleeves over the years). The second sleeve is also split for about 3/4 of its length down the right side (I tried to capture all inner sleeve defects in one picture-- look closely!).
-Last, my father wrote his initials on the inside top left corner of the top (God bless him).
Please study pictures for details!!!
Besides that, this is a fine piece with nothing to mention about the actual records- simply that they are in excellent condition. They will fill a home with their fine sounds long after we have all passed!
