As both a buyer and a seller I know how important it is to convey the condition when creating a listing. Since I am not able to play test every one of my records, I have to make a judgement call, based on my experience with vinyl, when I am grading. I try to follow the Goldmine standard to the best of my ability but sometimes it's difficult because of the variety of characteristics of a vintage piece of vinyl and its jacket. Plus, sometimes people see things differently. Imagine that! But really though, I do agonize over it. Probably unnecessarily. The convention I use to grade is in the listing heading and represents Jacket/Liner/Record. I usually will replace an old white liner with a fresh new one and if it's just  a regular liner it will be graded as G.
Each record is thoroughly cleaned as best as possible with an MKII Spin Clean Record Washer and air-dried. Records ship in a new plastic outer sleeve unless there is too  much wear on the edges of the jacket, in that case I do not ship with a new outer sleeve but will include one if requested at no extra charge.  Please review the photos carefully to judge condition for yourself. Some marks on the lower grade vinyl I offer I am not able to get out but don't seem like it will make a big difference in playability. For the time being, if I feel I need to play test a record, I am using a Technics SL-5 Direct Drive Automatic Turntable. Upgrading real soon  though. Are you excited? I'm excited about it!
