LED ZEPPELIN II ROBERT LUDWIG HOT MIX RL SS first pressing with RL and SS (Sterling Sound) on side one and LH SS on side two. Lee Hulko (Robert Ludwig’s mastering partner) per Ludwig’s mastering notes as stated by Ludwig and sounds fantastic.

The 50+ year old record plays strong. Played better for me than it looks. Some surface crackle heard in lead in, quieter sections, and between tracks, light to moderate tick/pop surface noise at times with music. Did not skip on upgraded Rega Planar 3 and Dynavector 10x5 cartridge. I vacuum cleaned it using Tergi-kleen.

Vinyl visual grade VG-/G+ and plays better. There are marks and hairline scratches/scuffs. A couple short scratches can be felt by light fingernail across them. See grading scale below for descriptions.

The Cover is VG has edge and spine wear, bottom seam split, small ink marks on front, name in marker on back.

Atlantic inner sleeve but not the original, provided with Mofi archival sleeve.

GRADING SCALE: M Mint - usually reserved for sealed records. NM Near Mint with only one or two insignificant defects. EXC Extremely nice, would be NM except for a few light hairline scratches or scuffs which do not affect play. VG+ A nice but used record that may have a series of light scuffs or scratches. It may play with a few pops or ticks but no serious problems. VG A well used record that still sounds OK but may have moderate surface noise, pops, etc. G A very worn record that plays through will do until a better copy comes along!
