Monstrously rare true promotional copy of the legendary Love's 3rd studio album "Forever Changes" with the promotional Elektra Records labels. The majority of promotional copies have the regular commercial release labels and the only thing that makes them a promotional copy is a promo sticker on the cover. This copy has the unique insanely rare "Promotion Copy Not For Sale" true promotional labels. It's impossible to find a promotion copy of this masterpiece. The cardboard cover is still in the original shrink wrap and has an original orange "Promotion Copy Not For Sale" sticker located underneath the shrink wrap at the top left corner on the front. Very early 1st print  Elektra Records gold Monarch, Los Angeles plant pressing with the Mono EKL-4013 catalog number, 2.75' pressing ring and "Promotion Copy Not For Sale" banner on the left from the spindle hole. Original custom Elektra Record inner sleeve with the Broadway, New York address and the Elektra logo.

The vinyl represents one of the best pressings manufactured at the Monarch, LA pressing plant, which is different from its East Coast counterparts. Monophonic atmospheric punchy Monarch sound, which as far as I know, you won't find on CD or any other format as the Monophonic version of this album has never been released on any format besides the vinyl. The full matrix numbers are: Side 1 - EKL 4013A (MON) MR in Circle DELTA 11251 RAY HAGERTY'S SIGNATURE; Side 2 - EKL 4013B (MON) MR in Circle DELTA 11251-X RAY HAGERTY'S SIGNATURE. The cover is in Near Mint condition with a barely noticeable bumping to the bottom right corner. The Elektra Records inner sleeve is in Near Mint condition. The beautiful shiny vinyl is conservative Very Good Plus, having some light surface hairlines and scuffs from the inner sleeve. It plays great with some light occasional background noise, which most likely will go away if the record is cleaned using a VPI cleaning machine. The glossy labels are in Excellent condition with a few very light spindle marks, which could be seen under a strong light source.
