All of my vinyl are in excellent condition, including the jackets and sleeves. They were purchased by me, new, and usually at time of release. They were always stored vertically and there's little, if any, rubbing on the jackets. I no longer have a turntable to test them but there's no reason why they wouldn't play. They've been carefully stored for decades in a smoke free home.
