A Double L.P. And 2 7” Singles, from Bleak House. Brand New, Mint Unplayed. The pictures are of my personal copy, except the last 2.
Bleak House NWHBM, a band from St. Albans, in the New Wave Of British Heavy Metal Scene, a collectors edition of the two 7 inch long play singles and a live concert or gig, all packaged in a Long Player Double L.P. And the two reissued singles. With a fold out colour supplement, a double sided facsimile poster and words printed inside the fold out sleeve.
The singles are shrink wrapped.
These were originally released on Buzzard Records, and independently made by the band. In the early 1980s, under the Buzzard label numbered Buzz 1 and Buzz 2, in appreciation of a friend, Pete Parkins, who ran a disco called White Bird, and referred to himself as The Old Buzzard.
A very popular band even now, but then, they were immense, this first single coming second only to Motörhead’s “Ace Of Spades” in a local newspaper readers’ poll.
