     Here is a nice copy of the Beatles' first Capitol LP "Meet the Beatles." However this issue was available only through the Capitol Record Club. Since it was available only through the record club, it had a special record number. The standard copy of Meet the Beatles was Capitol ST-2047. This record club issue is Capitol ST-8-2047. That number is on the record label and on the cover. This version was issued between 1969- 1971.

    I play tested much of this LP. The vinyl of this copy looks VG++ under a strong light, but plays Near Mint/ Mint, with silence between cuts and in the lead-in grooves.
   The cover is in nice VG+ condition, with slight wear and two stickers in the upper left corner. It has the same ST-8-2047 number and it has three black stripes on the upper left edge, signifying that it is a record club cover.
   The Cox/ Daniels Beatles price guide lists this LP at $250.00 in Mint condition and at $65.00 in VG condition.
