ELVIS PRESLEY - Elvis (LPM-1382) First Press 1S,1S!! AD BACK. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS TRUE FIRST PRESS RCA 1S,1S ON BOTH SIDES.YOU MAY NOT COME ACROSS ANOTHER. The record has been played and thoroughly enjoyed thru the past 66 years and has scratches a plenty. There are several gashes in vinyl but why would you want to play it when this is obviously for display? Record plays thru without issues. There are 2 large scratches on side one which go the length of the record. They look like my gran used the record as a shield at her last rumble. I've already stated that record plays without issues but note the 2 tracks with largest carvings are track 5 and 6 side 1. Played them today. There is surface noise but not unseemly. Both tracks sound much better than the grade.
Cover is a beauty. I've made several repairs with clear tape over the years. Photos of all are attached. Looks like original owner made small outline of the O in Old Shep title on back cover. Not significant. NO stains, No spills, no damage to beautiful cover except as noted. Had this been in better shape I'd start the bidding at over 1,000. I believe $100 is fair start for auction.
