Here we have a great bundle of very scarce Elvis 78's, all South African pressings on the RCA label. These are: Blue Suede Shoes/ I'm Gonna Sit right Down And Cry RCA 71.051 Lets Have A Party/ Hot Dog/How Do You Think I Feel RCA 71.185 Lover Doll/New Orleans RCA 71.230 These are all very uncommon pairings of tracks which I don't know exist anywhere else. All 3 records have a few light scratches and marks but they all play
remarkably well with no skips or jumps and just very faint background
crackle in the quieter places. I've always found that 78's with their deep grooves are far less susceptible than microgroove records. The labels are blemished by careless sticker removal but do look better 'in the flesh' than in the photos. I'd prefer to sell all three in one lot but will consider offers for individual ones. Lastly, I'm reluctant to post fragile 78's so, if possible, would much prefer collection.
