This auction is for arguably the best Westwood One Radio Networks radio broadcast there ever was. 
The show was entitled “Rock and Roll Never Forgets” and features one hour each with six of the greatest rock bands of all-time – The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Who and Eagles.
This 9 LP set was promotional and sent to member radio stations only in 1986, and never available to the public for purchase.  
In addition to some fantastic songs by these bands, there is also interviews with the likes of Robert Plant, Pete Townsend, Rogers Waters, Don Henley, John Lennon and others.  It’s really cool to listen to some of those.  And there are cool, vintage commercials from Coke, McDonalds and Sears.
This set comes with the original “playlist,” and is in the original cardboard box with Westwood One Radio Networks label.
The sound quality of the recordings is excellent in my opinion.  Certainly NOT weak or with too much low or high end – the LP's sound great!
It appears to me that this set may have never been payed (except at my home).  If it was, it was not played more than one or two times because all of the LP’s are in excellent mint or mint- condition.  
The only “issue” is that the LP’s have a slight warp to them.  The warp is very slight, so much that I didn’t realize it until I put them on my turntable and noticed it.  Because the warp is slight, it does not affect playback.  In other words, my turntable arm never once skipped or had an issue with the unevenness.  I cannot imagine there would be any problem on any turntable, no matter the budget.  It’s slight!  I do not have a record clamp.  That might take all of the warp away.  
I covered the name of the person/radio station this set was originally shipped to but it will be available to lucky buyer. 
This is a RARE set collectors.  And to have it this complete and the LP’s in such fabulous condition makes it even more rare.  I guarantee you will enjoy this set.  Look at the playlist.  Fantastic!  Thank you.
