Metallica - Kill 'Em All - 1988 Reissue - Specialty Pressing on Elektra/Asylum/Nonesuch Records With 2 Extra Bonus Tracks (Blitzkrieg & Am I Evil?) - This is the second pressing - first pressing on Elektra Records.
I did a full album complete PLAY TEST on a high end Technics SL-1200MK7 turntable. All turntables/needles (stylus) may sound/play differently but this should give you the most accurate idea of the audio quality.
Side 1- There is some light "crackling" (static/surface noise) during quiet intros and some of the softer/quiet passages. Once the louder music kicks in the audio quality is solid. No Skips.
Side 2 - There is some light "crackling" between some of the tracks and during the quiet intros and some of the softer/quiet passages. Once the music kicks in the audio quality is solid. No Skips.
PRESSING IDENTIFIERS
Cat # on vinyl label: 60766-1Includes the original black and white inner sleeve/insert. The insert looks really good but there is a small seam split on the bottom seam and about 3/4 of the glue on one of the side seams has become unglued. See last photo. Record has been placed in a new generic white inner sleeve to prevent any further wear on the original.
The vinyl has surface markings and hairlines but there are no deep scratches, nothing that can be felt with a finger and nothing that would severely impact play. This is definitely a solid and playable copy.
The jacket shows pretty typical wear for its age. It's got small creases along the spine. The corners show a bit of wear and there is a bit of light fading to the black areas. Structurally it is sound. There are NO seam splits on the jacket. Check out the video in the photos and you should be able to get a really good idea of the condition the jacket is in. I took many closeup photos as well. The record will be shipped outside of the jacket to prevent any damage during shipping.
Check out my other items. I have many rare or original first issue 80’s, 90's and 2000's records for sale.
*Most sellers either give a very general visual grading or a vague description. I do my best to be as thorough as possible and describe things in great detail. I am extremely picky and I realize sometimes this makes things sound worse than they actually are, but I believe that a buyer should not be disappointed when they receive a used album. They should have an appropriate expectation and deserve as much detail as possible before making a decision. Please contact me with and questions that you may have prior to purchase.*
