NM+ I do not grade used LP's above NM. If an LP by rare occasion looks and sounds absolutely flawless I'll grade it NM+.
NM The LP has been taken good care of. Visually close to
perfect but it may have light scuffs that do not affect play on most
turntables. The light click or pop should be expected. This is most
often caused by static electricity even on new LP's. If this is
unacceptable then buy CD's instead of LP's.
EX+ The
LP has been played and may have a few non sounding scuffs or hairlines.
Occasional light background noise can occur in low frequency passages.
EX The LP has a few surface marks. Some may be audible causing light clicks or pops, but not more than 2 or 3 repetitive clicks or pops. Some surface noise is to be expected.
VG+ The LP has been played many times. Audible marks or scuffs causing some background noise – but still thoroughly enjoyable. No skips or jumps.
